The momentI heard priyadarshan was directing it iwas expecting this movie to be an out and out comedy, but then this not exactly a comedy. Its more than that !!!
The storylinethoughis a remake is well adapted by priyadarshan.Well the storyline rougly goes somethinglike this
The movie starts with a bang about the mystery revolving around an old palatial house, the mystery is that the house is haunted and so on.
The first half comedy with the mysteryis quite good and keeps the audience waiting for more. the real amazing pickup is in the second half where the thrilling twists and turns keeps the audience on their toes and not to mention the comedy that is generously mixed into this potion. I mean guys this is the first instance of a movie I feel which is a comedy thriller. I haven't seen the original nor I have seen any such type of movies even in hollywood.Even though this is a remake I feel priyadarshan has not only done full justice to the original but has also surpassed the original with this comedy thriller. I dont think anyone who is looking for 3 hours of full mind blowing entertainment should even think of missing this movie.
The performance of akshay is damn good, he is the king of comedy and others like shiney and all have performed ok. Paresh is as usual amazing with his comic timing. Vidya has acted well as the lead girl, I really liked the scenes in the climax where she has done full justice to her character.
Enjoy and hav a blast with this mind blowing entertainer.
