Good Thriller with dangerous comedy...... . Review on Bhool Bhulaiyaa

This movie was advertised as if it is a comic movie and an item song hare Raam. And it was quite obvious to presume the same by looking at the team(Akshay Kumar Paresh Rawal, Rajapaal Yadav et.al.). Because Priyardarshan has a tag of director of comic movies and he is master of that gener of movie.

Cast of this movie is good; Akshay and Paresh  are obvious to faces in Priyadarshan's movie. Vidya Balan is improving herself movie by movie. At the same time she does not selects stereotyped or same kind of roles. That is why she looks newer after every new release.

This movie is a thriller. At the same time the situational comedy goes on side by side. The story is about a psychological disorder; in which people start identifying themselves as some other person's character. And Vidya Balan fells into this psychological problem.

she comes from U.S.A. to Rajasthan, India after marrying Shieny Ahuja. They decide to stay in their old palace which was haunted. After going there she has been told a story about the forfather of Shieny.

The story about a courtyard dancer "Monjulika" from W.B. Who was drop dead gorgeous, and the king felled in love with her. But Monjulika  and an the musician in the courtyad were deeply in love with each other. When the King came to know about this; killed the musician and locked Monjulika inside the room. He arranged wedding for himself with the dancer and when the room was opened she was found hanged and dead.Therafter, it was considered that ghost of Monjulika and the musician resides inside the palace. And by using Tantra-Mantra thy were locked inside a room.

After listining to that story she becomes too much involved into that; and starts behaving and identifying herself  as "Monulika", un-consciously.

The movie is thriller.  At the same time this movie has tickling comedy parts; some examples of superstitions has been very well depicted as comedy. I just loved the "Rajpaal Yadav's" part of the comedy. I will forever remember him as "Laal Hanumaan". That is one of the good part of this movie. As the movie goed on the thrill and suspense becomes deeper. Most of situation points that either it is "Amisha Patel" who is trying to horryfy vidyabalan(because she was suppose to get married with Shieny) OR it is a real ghost.

It well directed thriller. But, I could not feel that thrill because someone already told me that "Vidya Balan" was the one who does all the acts.

Akshay Kumar has done good job but not great! It seem very clear that he is in the good books of Director "Priyan" or star of that camp. The script give heaviest role to him. But, in the climex  Vidya Balan's performence is simply ace. The dance by  during the song shows incridible  passion and  restlessness which is hard to find these days. I think this one will remain among few memorable

dances of bollywood.

Last but not the least, Song "Hare Raam Hare Krishna" is the one which has no plce for itself in this movie. This is like an item number for this movie to show a big entry of Akky. Nothing else. This song it like an abuse to Sanatan Dharma. The way it has been recorded is shameful.

Anyways, it was a great fun to watch this movie. Role of "Rajpaal yadav"in this movie is the best and a memorable one. I would appreciated if this characters would have given more shots.
