Bhojan Bar and Restaurant is located in Alto Porvorim. You get veg as well as non-veg food here. At the porvorim junction take the slight left road and about 200 meters the hotel is located to the right side. There is a small parking area in front of the hotel. The hotel is not very appealing from the outside but the ambience inside is good. We went there after a friend suggested it an said the food was tasty.
We were 6 people in total. We ordered gobi munchurian, veg munchurian, masala papad, soup for 5 people, 5 rotis, 2 curries and veg pulao. The quantity provided is very filling. The waiter recommended veg diwani handi and it was very tasty. The dal makhni was also very good. We had only the vegetarian food but I have heard that the goan fish thali you get there is very good.
Our bill came to about 1500/- which I thought was very reasonable for 6 people.
The ambience of the hotel is nice inside. We went there on a weekday and at about 1:30pm the hotel was fully packed. At its peak it can be very noisy. The staff was very courteous and helpful and our food arrived quickly too. I would recommend you reach there about 12:30-12:45 if you want to avoid a noisy environment.
The food is totally value for money. I would certainly recommend it.
