Hi guys now there is something that surprised me so I’m sharing with you all.
I’m sure you people are aware of the fact that now the Cellular Service providers are giving roaming on the prepaid cards, the surprise is all related to this only.
Recently one of my friends happened to come to Bangalore, has a Magic connection Chennai and had activated roaming on the card. My friend was here for a week for some official purpose and on the second day itself Magic card value got over , bought a new recharge coupon and tried recharging but failed to do so, lodged a complaint with with airtel customer care center and came to know that if one is on roaming and the value of the card is over that it can only be recharged if & only if one is carrying along with him/her a recharge coupon from the state one is registered user of…….sounds funny na…it did to me .
If this is the rule that the service provider should intimate the customer about this and I would suggest need not to provide roaming on prepaid.
What would be more applicable and practical is the person should be able to recharge with a recharge coupon of the roaming partner in that state and later the revenue sharing can take place between the partners OR the service provider should provide a different set of recharge coupons for roaming customers so this sort of inconvenience is not faced in the future.
And boss I’m talking about a CSP, which has pan India presence and coverage it’s really not expected of it.
