Why not to choose Airtel

I had started Airtel post paid service in 2008. There was some network problems going on with Airtel. I was said that these issues will be over within few months. After 8 months I decide to change ISP and put the request for cancellation of my number. here the problem started.

I was guided by retention exec that you convert this number ot lifetime prepaid after all other offers from them I turned down. I agreed for that. After fighting for many days of hassles and about 6-8 visits to ARC's finally on 4th June 2009 my form got accepted. I cleared all dues and got the receipts.

I was said after 48 hours your phone will be working. I got a call on 6th June 2009 saying your account is conveted to prepaid and with in 4-7 hours your phone will start. After that many hours I checked and found that I am not able to make any incoming calls or outgoing calls. When I called CUSTOMER CARE I got to know that the gallery I submitted the application didn't send a request for activation of SIM CARD, so my number still not active.

A customer care representative asked me to visit gallery again and request to send a activation sms. Now that I found pathetic, its not my mistake then why do I suffer.

Its strange apart from Airtel that a customer is made to face problems face inconvenience because of their mistakes. My number is closed for more than two days.

So mates before choosing Airtel think again, then again think again.....................then again think again................

Hopefully u would have what I wanted to say with think again....

regards

Ashutosh
