Think more than 100 times before going to Bharti AXA Car Insurance, Below was my experience,
I had recently a claim for my car at renault whitefield showroom Bangalore, due to an accident. I did give all my documents( RC, DL, Original insurance), filled up the needed document, this was on 18/05/2015, I was informed that the same day the person from AXA has inspected the vehicle.
The service guys said that it would take hardly a weeks time if the cashless claim reaches us on time.To my surprise even after a months time things are as it is as it was on 18/05/2016, the claim status is still processing, now the guys says give some other document, like PAN card, address proof, photo. etc, just to drag things along., though the vehicle is ready, claim is under processing:)
I did try to catch up all AXA guys, by lodging a complaint, talking to the field officers'N' number of times, in vein nothing works out.They just give false promises, no reply's, no status updates, if you call up guys they just talk as if it was for the first time:). I do not know to laugh or cry at this situation.
My Suggestion,
Go for it, only if you have lot of time and patience, else it is always better to avoid it as believe in Prevention is better than Cure policy. NEVER again to AXA policy in my life. DO NOT GO WITH BHARTI AXA General Car INSURANCE. its a DABBA company.
