This is the time when the weather is most conducive and remains cool in the 20 degrees C region. The rains come in rather heavily in the monsoon season which lasts from May through September tourists should avoid that period.

The Nyethidow Festival celebrated by the Aka Tribe in March draws a lot of tourists and is a good time to visit.
