Regarding Neotia hospital(camac street) few facts I am telling. This is my personal experience. I am saying this to make you aware about the ground reality of the place, so that you will not scold yourself after discharge.
The story start from beginning, while you go for an admission, they will tell you to get admitted in a single occupancy room, because currently there is no double occupancy vacant.
Next are about the nurses available there. They all recruited from south, having no experience about the hospitality services. So before you are going there, you should be aware what all facility one should get in a single occupancy room. This is because you have to tell them to provide all those things; otherwise they will not give you at all, but at the end they will charge all the things in final bill. There are very few nurse available during night time, so patient have to ask at least for few time before she really get someone. There are lots of things I have to tell, but my main concern is not about the service, it is about the doctors available there.
For my wife, the anesthesia was done by a new doctor, he tried to do local anesthesia first. After three wrong attempts, he did global anesthesia. This was very scaring for me. I was really shocked with that. Even now while I think about my wife, I do afraid. Next is pediatrician. He had not come at least once to meet the patient in the single occupancy room. But in bill, they mentioned some extra charge of pediatrician as we ware in a single occupancy room. I cannot understand that, if a pediatrician is not visiting the single occupancy room, why to pay extra?
There all of the doctors want to make money, they are least bother about the patient health.
They will charge for you if you stay with your wife. I cannot understand that, if you are paying for a single occupancy room, where you will be having a sofa set to sleep, what is the big deal to allow you with your wife. Its obviously not the hygiene, because they will allow you if you pay some extra money.
Lastly, they will keep you in single occupancy room even if there is no need at all. We stay there for a whole day, only because pediatrician gave report after 12 noon, say 1:00 p.m. And the rule is if you get release after 12, they will charge for a whole day.
Surprisingly, initially while I asked many friends, doctors, they all recommended me for Neotia. I guess this was a good place earlier. But now it is not good at all. So, before going there you should esquire first with some genuine person about the face.
