Not recommended. Review on Bhagam Bhag

Hi All, I wish you all a very HAPPY NEW YEAR 2007.

I thought it would be a great start to my new year with some comedy and humor. But the movie was not up to the mark or may be the expectation that we all carry with all Priyadarshan flicks caused dearer to me.

The film bears all the low level comedy. It’s high time that the indian film industry has to produce some new ways to make people laugh and not just low level one liners. One liners are popular in Hollywood but it is not necessary that they will work in Indian cinema. You have to give that Indian touch to the comedy to make it acceptable in India.

The dialogues are not proper or may be they didn’t exist. It felt as if the actors are given a situation and were given a plot to say something on the given situation and make a scene out of it. Paresh and aki behaved like hera pheree and govinda like akhiyon se goli maare. Nothing that special. Lara is certainly in a wrong career. Even the best institutes cannot teach this girl to act. The same goes with Arbaaz Khan.

Some idea of what the film is all about: Paresh is a drama director and got a chance to perform in UK. The catch is that the heroine didn’t turn up and the crew flew without a heroine just to get one over there in UK. (Strange) A condition that the one who will bring a heroine will be the actor and other (Govinda/Aki) to be a villain in the next upcoming drama. Gov tried to get one and got trap in drug smuggling. Aki got a girl who tends to be having a suicide tendency but persuade her to act in the drama- strange 2. Suddenly she dies and Aki is stuck in her murder case. so bhagam bhag...... see the guts...they managed to conduct the shows and on the show back stage- Arbaaz is found dead and all 3 got stuck again and keep running. Strange 4- Lara is not dead and keep chasing these 3 sometimes in between. Ok the truth is that Arbaaz is a businessman and hires lara to act as his wife and behave as a mentally retarded. She did so because she flew for some work and got stuck in some police case and dear Arbaaz helped her to get rid off police. He offered her a duplicate passport and Rs.25 lakhs. And one day he killed his wife because he married her for her wealth and money - strange 5.Arbaaz wife is jackie's sister and Jackie who is a police commissioner in London takes his revenge and killed arbaaz back stage off the show of paresh.

Then the climax is typical hungama scene all gather like fools including some dons of drugs smuggling, shakti kapoor - a girls provider i.e. for roles in drama. rajpal yadav - taxi driver...

Does this make any sense?

It takes immense guts to write this review for u so that u can be saved from a nasty blow of such flick.

Sorry Priyadarshan this in not a movie to be watched.
