Bewakoof.com is an online marketplace where people can shop from the comfort of their home. The company has an unusual name that caught my attention and I thought to use their services. This company mainly deals in clothing and provides a range of clothes for Men, Women & Kids. Apart from clothing users can also buy accessories such as mobile accessories, bags etc. They work as a channel between sellers and buyers and provide a platform to make the buying process easy and convenient. They provide a choice to the customer to choose a product as per their desired size, color, pattern and price.
The product available on this portal are very limited and most of them are from unknown brands. I tried to buy a few clothing from my favorite brands but I was not able to find any of them on this portal. Also, most of the clothing range is of inferior quality and comes with no guarantee. There are a very limited choice available when it comes to color, size and pattern. I struggled on this website to get my size, most of the sizes available are of medium and large. There are very limited stocks available for XL & XXL.
The delivery is also pathetic and doesn't delivery to all the cities. I added a few product to my cart and in the beginning it shows that the product can be delivered at my address. However, during checkout there was an error that product can't be delivered at my address. So, It is a big hassle to shop on this website due to wrong information about product availability and delivery.
The portal is available both through app and website. However, none of them is capable enough to give a good experience to users. Shopping through the app doesn't work as it hangs a lot and always fails to respond. Also, I faced problem while logging through the app as most of the time it shows a logging error and only after attempting 10-12 times I was logged in. The app has a poor navigation and I found it very difficult to search the desired product and to use various features.
The customer support can be reachable only through email and they don't have a contact number where a customer can call in case of a query. When contacted through email they don't respond and it takes more than a week to get a reply from them. As they don't have a customer care number it shows how difficult it can be to raise an issue to the company in case of a faulty product or a product return.
So, overall my experience with them was not good at all and due to various drawbacks in their dealings I consider it as a unreliable company. If users buy anything there is no guarantee that they will get exactly the same product, size and color. Also, if you place an order with them there are chances that they can cancel your order due to delivery issues.
