EDIT 2: Finally got my refund after 15 days and a dozen phone calls to Customer Service. For a website that claims to be "India's largest online shoe store", the service is absolutely terrible. Go for them only if you're absolutely sure about your sizes and don't see a need to return the products.


EDIT 1: It's been 14 days since I placed a return request for my shoes and still have not received refund. Pathetic service. Degrading my rating from a 3 to 1. Worst part is, the customer care Help Line number is of terrible call quality. I have no idea what technology they use for it, but every single time I've called (and I've called several times till now), the call quality is downright pathetic and I can barely hear them over all the static.


The original review:


On my quest to buy myself a decent pair of shoes that fit (my size being the last in women's sizes and even then most footwear of Euro Size 41 are small for me), I continued my exploration of online shopping. After ordering at Zovi.com and then trying Jabong.com (both worked relatively well for me), I decided to give Bestylish a try just because I liked one particular pair of black bellies on their site.


The ordering was peaceful enough and the parcel took 2-3 days to get delivered. Packaging wasn't great, but protected the shoes well enough. The shoes were of good quality; they were the same as advertised on the product page.


The package was delivered by BlueDart and they refused to take back the shoes if they didn't fit me (unlike Jabong, which let me try the shoes before paying for them, as it was their own delivery service). So I was forced to pay Rs.1095 for my shoes on receiving them. Thereafter I realized that despite being the last size available on the site (Euro 41), they were too small for me. To return this product turned out to be an elaborate process.


My Bestylish.com account has a "Return request" section through which I should technically be allowed to raise a request for returning a product. For some strange reason, my product refused to show up despite satisfying the Bestylish.com Terms & Conditions for returns. I waited a few days for the product to appear on the section, feeling too lazy to call the Toll free number. Finally after a few days I gave up and ended up calling the Toll Free support to place a request for return. They gave me the request number and it was updated immediately on the return request page of my account. I got a call the very next day asking me if a pickup could be scheduled for the day after to collect my package.


I agreed and also received a call from Aramex couriers the next day as promised by Bestylish to enquire about my location and landmarks. But despite waiting all evening, nobody showed up to collect the package. 2 days after the pickup was supposed to happen, I again got a call from the courier chap asking me if he could come. I once again agreed and this time, the Aramex courier guy was not even professional enough to bring an airway bill to give me as proof of receipt of the package. He promised to bring the airway bill the next day and took my package despite my hesitation (never brought the airway bill, but all's well that ends well thankfully). For 4 more days there was no update on the Bestylish account page and I had to again call Support to ask for the status, to which I received a reply saying the product had been received in the warehouse, had passed Quality Check and now I would receive a refund within 3-4 days in my Bank Account (which I had requested for specifically when the first Support guy told me I'd get Store Credit - I refused that right off the bat) for which I had mailed the details more than a week ago. So now the wait for the refund begins.


Hopefully I'll get it soon enough. Will post an update on this review when I do about how long it took. (Will give one more star when I get my refund without hassles - Check Edit on top for latest update)
