My wife was getting severe pains so we went to cambridge hospital two days ago. Met Dr. Punita inspite of severe labor pain, Punita informed us that baby is in week 30 and baby's lungs might not be fully developed and hence my wife needs to be admitted to hospital for 2-3 days so that they can reduce her pain and and give her medications to expedite baby's development.( I really wonder if such drugs are available to expedite baby's development. I guess such drugs were present then no mother would need to carry a child for 9 months).
So went ahead with Punita's suggestion on getting admitted, thinking all the time about our baby's welfare.
We choose deluxe room 203, Unfortunately, we were not given soap, or toilet papers for one and half day until we insisted on it for the staff to get it who were so unprofessional and were suggesting to go without soap or else wait for one more day.
All the time, we were kept in the dark about what treatment was going on. We kept asking for ultrasound scan but they kept giving excuses for not doing for two days.During these two days, my wife was given all sorts of painful injections. Their untrained staff didn't even know how to insert a needle and actually bent the needle while inserting. When my wife complained about severe pain due to needle, the nurse didn't pay any heed to it until the next day, when she took it out and found that the needle was bent.
During this course of medication and injections, the heart beat of our baby kept on reducing with the increased pain killer injections and medicines. On 2nd day, my wife was totally frustrated with the treatment and insisted for ultrasound scan. During her scan, Ultrasound technician informed her that our baby is fine and ready to be delivered. But when my wife disclosed her that Punita suggested to wait for 10-15 days and is giving pain killer injections, he kept quiet and did not comment on it. He said Punita is a better person to know. Also, when my wife asked him to share a copy of the scan, he refused to give and told it will directly go to Dr. Punita.
During the evening round of doctor, my wife again asked for scan report which the round doctor did not responded. In the evening, my wife was told to that they are discharging her. At the time of billing I was surprised to see an additional Charge of NST test. which we remember correctly that nurse during first night informed us that she will conduct it when baby will be moving and suggested to do it next day. we also remember she did not do NST as she mentioned that baby was doing fine and there is no need for this test.
When I asked the same thing to ladies at reception, they informed me that there was a NST report and they even showed me one which looked something like a cardiograph reading with ups and down. I told her that when the test was never performed on my wife how can this report be generated(with even my wife's name on it). When I insisted on calling the nurse who was on night duty. They suddenly changed their stand and said we will remove this charge.
Post paying the bill we got the reports. when we came home we were surprised to see ultrasound scan report which mentioned that baby was 35 weeks and 2 days old. which literally means that my wife was actually ready to deliver the baby, but just because of Dr. Punita's inexperience and money minded mentality, my wife was forced to take medicine to suppress labor pain and do not deliver baby. Inspite of baby being in week 36 and my wife having intense labor pain, she is still asking to wait for 15 more days. I pray to god to curse cruel persons like Dr. Punita for their inhuman behavior. She is a black spot in the name of doctors. Shame on her and this money making hospital who has no regards for a patient's life. Shame on her husband Pavan rangraj also who is posting all positive reviews about this fake hospital with different ids.
Please do not visit this hospital or else your wife's and baby's life will be in danger.
