I had been cheated and had a worst experience with Dr.Punitha and Dr.Kavitha of Cambridge hospital. I had been to them in Jan 2008 as they recommended for a laparoscopy for 3mm cyst. Later on I had consulted another Gynec and got to know that this laparoscopy was unnecessary as usually the laparoscopy will be done only if the cyst is 5mm or more.
Later in 2009 and 2010 I had two unsuccessful IUI’s and two unsuccessful IVF’s. The main reason of the failure was thyroid and endometrial tissues (caused due to ovarian cyst). I had thyroid and this needs to be brought in control before starting any kind of infertility treatment.
This was completely ignored by the doctors and none of the hormonal injections worked on me due to thyroid fluctuations. Endometrial tissues need to be cleaned up before the treatment. These two major aspects were completely ignored by both the doctors. They just concentrate on seeing maximum number of patients in a limited period and don’t even talk to the patients to study the issue in depth.
They are just running it for making money on people’s emotions and helplessness and they are not bothered whether you have a baby or not. I lost more than 5 lacs money and 2.5 years with them.
I strongly recommend not to go for any infertility treatment in Cambridge hospital and especially don’t go by the sweet talks of Dr.Kavitha.
I suggest to check 3-4 doctors in Hyd and Mumbai as well before starting any kind of infertility treatment. We don’t just lose money more than that our emotions and happiness of conceiving a baby is traumatized.
