How to be successful at an interview. I didn't have to think twice when I decided to write about this one .
To be successful or have a successful interview you must start from the get go .
First off, dress appropriately. Make sure ( if a woman) your dress is not too seductive and more business like ( men ) Make sure your suit is clean , tie on straight , etc.
Next , make sure you have an updated resume and plenty of references. Once done, then you are ready to go to the interview.
Make sure you arrive at least 10 - 15 minutes early , in case they have some paper work they want you to fill out.
Always , always , carry yourself like you are royalty. Stand straight , don't slouch and be and feel assertive.
Once you are asked to come in to the interviewer's office/space , extend your hand and shake it firmly. Do not sit until asked to and this is an important one ......
Maintain eye contact. If you cannot look the person you are talking to directly in they eye , then the prospective employer thinks you can't handle the position.
Above all , be positive , think positive and if you are right for the job .... you will be hired!
