It is a typical Yash Raj film directed by one of the celebrated and famous movie maker in India Adtya Chopra. It is his first film after Rab Ne Bana Di Jhodi. Before this film in all his movies that he made it had Sharukh Khan. So it was very big challenge for the director to make this movie on a supreme level like all his previous movies. In this movie he wanted to try something different which is never told in hindi film so far. This type of genre is called romantic comedy. Our very own bollywood is famous for its pure romantic film but this type of genre is never touched upon. So the film has a different and unique perspective. The film is based in Paris where the two lead of the film Dharam(Ranveer Singh) and Shyra(Vani Kapoor) they want to explode and discover love unconditionally. So this is the main plot of the story and later how it goes is very interesting and that's why you have to watch this film.
Then if we come to the casting of the film then Ranveer is exactly perfect in his role. In an interview the director of the film Aditya Chopra said that Ranveer is the best choice in the film and nobody could play that part besides him. In the film we find him quite in his Band Baja Barat avatar. Now if we come to the leading lady of the story we saw enough criticism against her. But all of these are very much unexpected because she is quite perfect in the role that she is given in the movie.
Another attraction of the movie is its music which is amazing. All the songs are very relevant in the movie. Also the background music of the film is very fresh and warming. So the sound portion of the film gives a different dimension in the film.
The film is well shot. The camera work is fantastic. The beautiful Paris is very well portrait in it. The film is quite watchable but the only low site of the film is in the latter part of the film it is unable to hold to emotion and fun like the begining. But everyone should watch the film once to get the portrayal of Paris and bound less love.
