Just sharing a very bad experience I had with Asian Pints.
I had painted my house last year with Asian Paints mainly using Royale brand for interiors in the main areas. But soon I started noticing a white powder appearing on the interior walls. This started spreading and was there all over the walls. I raised a complaint and they responed. The explanation was that this was a white powder precipitating due to a process during a procedure of making the paint lead free(Unfortunately one has to believe what they say). I insisted this should be settled. They provided the whole paint to redo the interior and granted labor charges as well. The house was repainted a month ago. But soon after I stared noticing the same problem again. Now I can see the white powder reappearing as before all over the walls. The issue was notified again and proceedings are going on. I am bringing some points to notice
- Right from last year during the first issue I had been asking them to send a proper documentation of events by letter or e mail. each time they reassure that I will receive a mail. But nothing happens. Every time like a fool I keep dictating my email ID to receive nothing.
2.During the second painting I noticed a bad smell inside certain areas. I was looking for some thing rotten inside the house . Now I realize that it must have been from the paint.I raised this also in the complaint.
I received a SMS from Asian paints saying that somebody from company will visit my house to inspect.
Today I get a call form Asian paints saying that after visit they got a report that there is no smell and nothing is wrong. How can they get a report without any body even giving me a call leave alone visiting my house. How can a company like Asian paints and its staff be so irresponsible?
This sums up the quality of products and even worse the services they provide.
I am seriously thinking of filing a suit.
Folks go for something else not Asian Paints.
