Pathetic response from Asian Paints Home Solutions. Review on Beautiful Homes Service

I have been reading through various blogs, now at the right time.  Well, our house is just about to get completed but I have been following up with the toll free numbers and through email logging in my request for a proposal.  After a few days I get a call from Mumbai(i live in Chennai) just checking out the area to be painted(fairly for a big house), and all the relevant details in advance.  She also promised that there would be someone who would discuss with me and take it forward.

Now, the gentleman calls up and takes the necessary information.  He promised to come on a specific date but never turns up. Nor does he bother to call us to inform anxious customers like us.  I take the pains of calling every now and then, but I think I got a call once(if I remember right) that he would come the next day or so!  Hoo ha. as written in other blogs about their poor service, this time it did not even go to the level of taking their service, but rather not even responding to customer's enquiries. We are so called HOT prospects for them, who have mentally decided to go with Asian Paints(well, getting lured by their advertisements, etc.) but at the moment we are very clear.  We just DO NOT want to go with them.

I am not sure if the company would bother to take any such stringent action against people like these who are killing their product in spite of stiff competition(we really have many choices today - Nippon, Dulux, Nerolac, etc.) and I am sure the quality is going to be similar.  But the response we get gives a feeling that they probably not bothered as they already have a huge business anyway.  So in light of the above if I get a feeling that I am not getting the right attention, let's go to other alternate good or even better solutions who will take care of their customers.

Now I am relived to the fact that I do not need to go from pillar to post after engaging them, because fortunately I have got a taste even before they bagged our order(blessing in disguise).

I only hope someone from Asian paints senior management gets to read it and put necessary steps and processes in place, to protect their brand, as otherwise, I feel, a good brand like this will have a time time ahead in future!
