Hi All,
I have recently(Sep-16) painted my home using Asian paints easy color services. The work done by local vendors tied up with Asian paints. I have house which is 5.5 years old with builder provided distemper paint. It was in good condition and looking fine only few cracks which is normal.
Asian paints painting is not professional at all. The painting in window corners, door corners, ceilings is not done properly. Finishing for textures, stencils is very poor, even I could have done better than this. I am now feeling my house is better earlier and wasted my money.
Few of the points to judge them-
Use of machines: It’s purely nonsense. For a formality they have machine for sanding which they used only for 1 room.
Masking & cleaning: Not done for all items. My tubes, terrace door, cupboard tops messed up with paint.
Use of brushes: They continue to use old brushes, for ceiling painting they used my curtain rods and damaged my walls with other end
Finishing: worst, guys are local vendors and not professionals what to expect ?
Cost: they are almost charging 50% premium post discount to local vendors. The quality of work seems to be as good as rather bad to local vendors.
Schedule: This is only positive, but for it they completed work in hurry no due care taken to allow first coat to dry out completely before stencils/ texture.
Post painting service: I am still following up with them to fix issues they left behind.
Final call. Please Avoid, they are useless.
