I was bound to write few words after watching this movie. Most of guys in age group of 35+ must have witnessed the era of this timeless superstar. The unparalleled super stardom of over two decades is nothing short of dream. Today when just one or two blockbusters in a row take actor to number one position, Amitabh bachchan was MAN who for 13 consecutive years(1973-1985) give multiple blockbusters every year, He was undisputed ONE MAN INDUSTRY in that era with number 1-10. Even after 1988 when his stardom started sliding downward, He still gave top openers of year. Even his guest appearances were given huge reception.
Well to begin with, Bbuddah promos were not that effective, but I was hugely excited looking at first poster of Bbuddah of Deewar style. But after that, rest of promos were good, but not great. Like most others, I went for Delhi Belly first, because of youth factor and songs(DK Bose) which went on to become huge hit. On second weekend, I decided to check Bbuddah as I didn't want to miss opportunity to saw the biggest superstar of Bollywood in his most loved Avatar(Angry man). On second weekend, Saturday evening 8:25 PM show was HOUSEFUL, I was very pleased to see this. And then show began . movie begin with title song with castings rolling on colorful fonts and Amitabh outline on background. This was classic beginning. Initial few minutes were introduction of Prakash Raj and Sonu Sood with few happenings and then came the BAAP of all, Amitabh Bachchan . Clappings, Seetis and Taalis all round the cinema . felt like era of 70's and 80's has come again. This was delighted moment. Vijju(Amitabh) confrontation with Makrand deshpandey was mind boggling and then came ultimate item dance number'Go Meera Go' . entire era of 70's and 80's was in front of my eyes. When "Saara Zamaana" comes on screen, give huge goose bumps . this 6.5 minute song was very very short . and there was voice in cinema . "Once more . Once more" . but hey . it was multiplex and show will go on. Then come most and only irritating part of movie "Raveena Tandon" . how I wish if she was not in movie . she looked forced and was over the top. Charmie was cute and her chemistry with Amitabh was superb. And then there was twist in story with intermission point .:)
But picture abhi baaki thi mere dost . Second half of movie was filled with all those Masala elements which were meant for only BACHCHAN. Entire sequence of BAR, meeting of vijju with Kabir(Prakash) and last climax shot were superb and treat to watch. Here we saw the REAL Amitabh . the MAN we loved for years . and these sequences were enough to give me reason to watch this classic movie again. YES., I am definitely going to see it again next weekend. This movie belongs to one man only . AMITABH. His towering performance gives you enough reason to watch it in theater.

Who watch cinema NOT for acting.
Who are pseudo intellectuals.
Who doesn't understand the term "MASALA"
who think age is NOT in mind.
Else, if you doesn't FIT in above list . GO . RUN . FAST . this is MUST WATCH for you.
