Batman vs Superman - spoiler free review
Batman vs Superman is directed by Zack Snyder and for the females who are not aware of his directing style he has also directed some very good looking films like .300, sucker punch, man of steel and watchmen. Hence visually the movie looks excatly like Man of Steel.and its quite an eye candy with outstanding 3D effects. it is one of those few movies which will look better in 3D than 2D and thats quite a saying.
However the movie is spalatered all over and takes some time to get going. The Wonder woman could have been given more screen time or background story just in case director was running out of story material and in this movie you feel that director had to drag some scenes just to make up for the run time.
The actions sequences are quite amazing and the fight between Batman and Superman is directed very well( those 10 minutes is worth sitting for 2 hours) and of course final Boss battle is done quite well too. Ben Affleck has done terrific job as Batman but this Bat man is more like video game Batman rather than Movie Batman. His costume is completely different and his personailty is more dark and gloomy . Superman is well like Superman "God among man" and of course looking good. Although you feel he is out of place in Clark Kent costume and frankly scenes from Daily Planet looks forced, repetitive and not funny.
You take some part of the movie with you when you leave the theater and that is good thing. Overall I give this Movie B+ for excellent cinematography and action sequences. Story could have been better. Definitely to be watched in a theater with excellent 3D and 7.1 Dolby Atoms effects. It will not hold half its value on small screen just like Mad Max.
