I am a regular buyer of BATA products. Last month I picked one pair of chappels from South Extn Part-I showroom which was costing me Rs.1600/-. With in four days it turns black color. When I asked them, I was told we don't have a policy. Also we never give a guaranty for those kind of issue. Also they claimed that this color changes is natural one due to sweating.
When I asked why it was not told me when I bought this they are claiming this is not our job. The customer should know everything. I asked their corporate number to launch complaint.(Since I thought the showroom person is trying to cheat). I didn't get any number from the showroom.
Finally I launched the complaint in their website.(For your info they are not giving their contact email id, so you have to use their format only in website. So you won't be having a copy of the complaint for your ref). Till date I haven't received any response from them. FINALLY I UNDERSTOOD THAT BATA GIVES THE IMPORTANT TO THEIR CUSTOMER IS WHAT WE ARE GIVING TO OUR WASHROOM CHAPPELS.
