Well I?m a John Travolta fan and I do like Samuel Jackson..so with the two of them together I had to watch this one?and I certainly wasn?t disappointed?
The movie is based in a US army base camp in Panama?.six men, including their trainer(Samuel Jackson) are out on a night training session when a hurricane hits...well the next thing you know is only two get out?.What happened back there is what John Travolta, a former army personnel himself is called in by an old friend who runs the base to investigate?
However as the movie goes on the story gets a lot more complicated..with the two guys who got away telling stories of different natures?Every one seems to have hated the Sergeant and with four of them dead and two guys giving totally different versions of the events it becomes a really decent who-dun-it. And by the way you can add drug trafficking to the scenario?..Interesting little kettle of fish isn?t it?!!!!
In the end the rathole is cleared up and the truth does come out?and for those of us who enjoy surprise endings..well this has one?
It?s a really good movie and I'd definitely say one of the better ones to watch this summer?.
