This is my first review of a film so please advise what else do you want to see in a Film review.

Other members have discussed the plot very nicely. So I won’t write about it. I’m sharing my feelings (not great about this film).

As per the title, you'll feel Barsaat, Barsaat of Songs in the first half. After every 7-8 minutes there is a song (Time gap management is brilliant), though the songs are not much boring. And the great thing is that most of the songs are according to the situations and not because a Hindi film ought to have some.

I don’t like to talk about the story in detail as the friends who have not seen the movie yet and are planning to go, have something left to cherish (though they will be disappointed).

The movie opens in States, where Arav (Bobby) has completed his Masters and is aiming to be a car designer. He meets Ana (Bipasha) in a Gypsy’s tent and they draw a common card. These 15-20 minutes are very very boring as there is nothing more but meetings of two, which Arav says, is purely “Itefaaq” and Bips says its ''Destiny''. Many people have left after this scene declaring that it is a very badly directed movie. But patience my dear friends, patience!

I feel that more characters should have been included. Just watching Arav and Ana is very boring.

As the songs come after every 7-8 minutes, it is a feast for those who love average songs.

The story starts building in the second half of the second half. Too late! Well, at least a person who is spending money has something to see and maybe cherish (if any energy is left or if one is awake). Second half has been shot in Manali. Director should have utilized Manali for more picturesque filming of the songs, at least.

Kajal (Priyanka) has acted well. In the second half frequency of occurrence of songs is one song after every 15-17 minutes. Saved finally!! There is a scene where I could hear someone sob from the audience (when Kajal is portrayed as lone poor creature). Director has succeeded in making people cry, what to say of sobs.

You can count the characters on fingers of one hand. Too less and all the time we have to see Arav. It is somewhat a very tiring experience. [Though there is no importance of other characters of this film; these three could have done the same job without any help from others]. When one starts enjoying the film, alas!, it ends!! Huh!

The film is a disaster in the first half. Second half is fine. The story is OK but the duration of the film should have been decreased to make it more interesting and gripping. It is too loose. Wardrobes of Arav, Ana & Kajal are average.

My advice: Go to the movie after the Intermission if you are not a Bipasha diehard.
