With the flop of Kismat this year, Bobby Deol is quickly ready with another action film BARDAASHT starring with Former miss universe Lara Dutta, Ritesh Deshmukh, Rahul Dev and Tara Sharma. Directed by E. Niwas and produced by Pooja Galani and Vijay Gilani. There were not much expectation from the film but it came out to be a brilliant action emotion drama.

Such type of films are witness upteen times in the past but the style and brilliant direction of E. Niwas and Power Packed performances by the entire cast make it different from the rest.

Army life forms the backdrop for this thriller which revolves around Aditya Srivastav (Bobby Deol). Aditya was once an army officer who fell in love with Payal (Lara Dutta), daughter of a senior officer.

But due to some arguments with senior officials, he was asked to leave the army. Adding insult to injury, girlfriend Payal decides to dump him too.

Not one to brood over the past, Aditya moves on in life. He opens a travel agency.

His family consists of a younger brother, Anuj (Ritesh Deshmukh) who is coming to terms with his disturbing past. But soon a simple misunderstanding sees Anuj storming out of the house in anger.

When he fails to return the following day, Aditya organises a search party. What he discovers shocks him - his brother is found dead.

Unable to tolerate his brother's death, Aditya begins to investigate. This leads to a new twist in the storyline.

He even ends up in court seeking justice on what had happened. He comes across his past love, Payal, who by now has become a lawyer.

As the case progresses so does their relationship as their love is once again rekindled.

But when all fails, Aditya takes the law into his own hands to prove his brother's innocence.

The sence in the Police station between Bobby Deol and Rahul Dev are intriguing. The sence when Bobby went to complaint against the cops stand out. The courtroom by Lara Dutta and Tara Sharma are very well executed.

Vikram Bhatt screenplay is another advantage. The movie moves on a singular track not messing around with item numbers or lot of songs.

The climax is execllent and very well shot.

Cinematography is very good as well the action sequences handle brilliantly. Dialoques are intresting especially the one in the police station by bobby deol and rahul dev or the in the court were well worded.

The Music is another major asset. There are only three songs in the film but all are execllent. Himesh Reshammiya deserve full marks. 'Silsile Mulaqaton Ke' and 'Janaab-e-Aali are very well shoot.

Now towards the performances,

Bobby Deol gives a brilliant performance worthy of many award nomination. After a long time the actor is found in full form. An actor to watch for given the right role.

Lara Dutta was looking very beautiful. Her courtroom sences were execllent. Lara Dutta has proved that she is not only good looking but she can also perform very well.

Ritesh Deshmukh was good in a short role.

Tara Sharma gives a noteworthy performance in Bardaasht after poor performances in Om Jai Jagdesh, Masti and Saaya.

Rahul Dev produces another good performance as well as Ganesh Yadav and Vishwajeet Pradhan. Virender Saxena and Nagesh Bhosle (the opposite lawyer) leave a mark in small roles.

On the whole a brilliant attempt by E.Niwas with no big opposition this week will help bardaasht at the boxoffice.
