Hi, I recently got my Barclay card statement and I was shocked to see the fat interest charges on my card So I called up the customer care to understand the fat interest amount, to my surprise I was told that I am being charged 3.5% interest, however in my card statement it says 3.1%.
When I objected and asked for an explanation on this then that denied the explanation and said the interest charges were revised long back and I was intimated on this.
But I never received any intimation. Still I asked them then why you are writing 3.1% on statement. The answer for this never case I even escalated this to the higher level but they were all silent.
I am planning to drag them to consumer court on this. Please advise if anyone has some idea on this.
