This Saturday, My dad was in Bangalore to meet me. We met after almost a year, so we thought to have dinner outside. Since my Dad cam to Bangalore after a long time, so its me, my Sister & my Jiju's responsibility to decide. First we thought to go to Little Italy. Then we change our plan & decided to go to Barbeque Nation, Koramangla. This is the 4th time I was going to Barbeque Nation. But last 3 times, I went to Indiranagar Branch. I found Indiranagar a bit too commercialised. I was not happy with the sitting arrangments (All the three times I got a place to sit in the Terrace one so I am not sure about the A/C hall there).
As soon as I entered Kormangla Branch (Not the Terrace one, but A/C Hall), It looked ok. Ambience was better than Indiranagr one. Sitting arrangments were good. Sofas (or whatever you call them) were comfortable to sit on. This was Dad's first time in Barbeque nation. When the waiter put that hot stuff (I dont what we call them, I guess Barbeque??) on the table, my Dad asked us "This is not the Winter Season. Why he gave us the heater to heat our hands?" Ha ha ha ha. We haven't told him what exactly this for till the time Waiter started providing us the Starters. Starters were good & thats the usual there. As I am a veggie (In my family, only I am the Veggie (Do you guys treat Egg in veg????)), I had to satisfy my Stomach with Paneer starters. I turned Veggie couple of months back, so visits to Barbeque nation before that was awesome for me. But this time good as they dont have much to offers in veg. But hey hey hey, they have good Paneer starters. They'll give you Starters, barbeque them for some more time, put the sauce you wanna put on Starters & eat them. Thats cool.
After having hell lot of Starters, we went for Main Course. They dont have much to offer in main course. They had very limited dishes. May be because they know, people will fill their stomach with Starters only. But thats not an excuse..... They need to improve on that.
Now coming to Desserts. Did we have any place in our Stomach (Tummy by that time & I already have huge Tummy so I dont what I should call it after having hell lot of Delicious Starters & ok main course)???? But after seeing those Desserts. mmmmmmm. Gulab Jamoons, slurp. Ice Creams, slurp. Cream Slurp. Chocolate Sauce, slurp slurp slurp slurp slurp. We couldn't wait to grab those. As I have said NO to sugar, :(, had to adjust with fruits (Watermelon & Pineapple).
Overall, we had a very good time in Barbeque.
