Well, I am big foodie and so are my colleagues. We keep trying out different places for team lunch/dinner events.
The first time I visited this place was when they had just started in B'lore @ Ind Ngr 100 Ft Rd. Been there 3 times after that, last time being just a few days ago... All the 4 times, I decided to book the Terrace area, coz of the nice live music the band plays.
Now, lets come to the review part....
FOOD -
Food is delicious n Yummy. They have a fixed starters+buffet concept which includes:
10 Starters served until u ask them to stop. (5 Veg n 5 Non Veg) - All very well cooked and yummy.
These starters are served on the grill placed on ur table.
The vegetarians have not much choioce (baby potatoes, paneer, mushrrom etc). But Non veg starters include Prawns, Chicken, Mutton n Fish!! By the time u r done with the starters there is hardly any space left for the buffet.
The buffet has a good spread - Soups, bread rolls, cheese n butter, indian breads, veg n non veg curries, pasta, biryani, steamed rice n salads...
Now to the Desserts - Includes a couple of types of pastries, indian dessers such as jamoon or halwa, ice cream n choice of sauces n dryfruits n fresh fruits.... (Just awesome I must say!)
All this is priced at 400 + 50 (Tax) without any drinks. The food is definitely worth the money u pay!!!
*DRINKS -
Drinks are all over priced for their quality.
Most of the drinks form the menu are usually unavailable.
*SERVICE -
All my personal experiences have been good except for the last time. We booked a table for 7 on the terrace. All of us were on time except for one person. We started with the appetisers while waiting on the other person...
We requested for a different bigger table as they had option of only 1 grill for a table of 8. They refused outright n the way they responsed was too unprofessional.
Then the waiters would keep coming asking to take the chair away n we kept sayin that we were expecting someone...
This happened for like more than 5 times, everytime we had to tell the same thing... But what finally happened pissed us off... The floor manager (the NE Indian lady) saw us totally engrossed chatting and eating and signalled to one of the waiters to slowly take away the chair without our notice!! I dunno what she was thinking... a person liftin the chair next to u and u wont notice???
We abviously saw what was happening and lost our cool. When confronted, she was just giggling!!! Can u imagine how irriting it can get one a restaurant staff not only acts indifferent, but also behaves this disgusting!!!
Then another guy who had been taking our orders, comes n says that we cant stay for more than 2 hours and they had such a policy!!! This was pure bullshit!!! We asked to see a manager... Then some guy (looked like a manager) takes this fellow aside n gives him a peace of his mind. The waiter then comes back n says "I apalagise saar, u can sit till we close also, no prablem"!! But that dint help at all as we had had enuf!!! We anyway had a nice time after that as we dint want this episode to ruin our dining.
OVERALL VERDICT -
A good place to go if you have a good apetite, The food is def worth 450! Mine was a one off experince with the bad service. Not sure if ill go back to the same place again. They have a branch in Koramangla, n I heard they recently opened one in Jayanagar.... Ill maybe visit one of those two sometime...
