I have been to Bangkok a few times. I have stayed in Backpackers hotels( Khaosan Road) and also in* hotels( Baiyoke sky). You cannot take away anything from these hotels. The Hotels in Bangkok offer very good value for money . The food here is exceptional. You can eat on the streets or in the Hotels. Pure vegetarian food is available in Plenty.Its a heaven for fruit lovers. The markets are flooded with goods. especially clothing.Prathunam, Boubay.and the night market near Indira market.
One thing I must say about the THAI MASSAGE I did not get any relaxation from it. The massageur I went to was least interested in doing the job( Maybe it was late at night .that is why).
Its a place one should visit with the family. It is not that expensive to go their( if you compare with the air-fares in India and the price of the hotels in our tourist places. A very good website to book hotels is https://booking.com . You will get very cheap deals. You do not have to pay anything on the web. Just make a booking and pay when you go to the hotel.
