Something that you just shouldn’t miss is the Safari park. It’s a complete entertainment for the entire family. You can take pictures with tiger cubs and exotic birds here. There are shows of dolphins, whales, chimp’s birds etc. Kids will enjoy this the most, but you will have to do quiet a bit of walking from one show to another.
Another good attraction is the Thai village, which has traditional Thai dances and shows, but the star attraction is the Elephant show. Elephants throwing darts, playing football, is great fun to watch. You can also take pictures with elephant’s carrying you, a huge tiger and chimpanzees.
The city is well planned and has loads of cheap shopping.
We visiting two Buddhist temples. One was the Reclining Buddha Temple and the other was the Golden Buddha Temple (can be avoided if short of time, but the temples are quiet good).
Went shopping to ‘Sum Lum’ night bazaar in the evening (hope I spelt that right). You have to bargain hard here. Stuff is cheaper on the streets of the bazaar, than inside the bazaar. You can get almost everything under the sun here, at a pretty reasonable price.
Over all, a very good city to spend a couple of days holidaying with your family.
