Not so lovely!. Review on Bangalorewithlove

For all you folks wanting to send gifts and/or flowers to loved ones in Bangalore...watch out for this company bangalorewithlove.com whose ads you might run into on the internet.

I found this company on Google and found that their prices were not only reasonable but they promised to deliver to cities in Karnataka on the same day and they were B'lore based. They have all the items that you can possibly think of on the site...starting from flowers, cakes, fruits, chocolates to sarees, crystalware gifts and handicrafts. You can even ask them to deliver a gift card sponsoring a dinner for two at the Taj!

I wanted to send flowers to my mother in Bangalore whose birthday was on Valentine's Day. So, I decided to place an order. Placing an order was easy and I gave them my credit card details. I communicated with them through email to make sure it wouldnt be overlooked and received an email confirmation saying that they would deliver it at the earliest though it might not be at the requested time on that day. I was disappointed to later find out that they hadn't made the delivery and they didnt even have the courtesy to let me know that they couldnt make the delivery.

Instead when I called they claimed they had a notice signed by my mother saying she had received it. Later when contacted again...the owner Mr. Varun was extremely rude and hung up the phone in the middle of the conversation! He said, I quote ''if you dont want to order then dont order''! The whole experience was quite embarrassing with me having to make long distance calls repeatedly from the US during work hours asking my mother if she had received it and with both of us being really disappointed. I only hope that I will not be charged for this. I can only imagine my plight if I had ordered something more expensive! I would advice people to go with companies you have heard of instead of ones that just pop up on Google. The site doesnt even give you a contact address unlike the other sites(bangaloreonlineflorists, nexus florists) which give you their full contact information. This one is definitely the worst...with no respect for its customers!
