Firstly, hats off to Bangalore police.
Look at the mess called roads in Bangalore. Somebody standing and monitoring the traffic really needs to be brave and patient. That is what the police is upto now.
Our riders have absolutely no sense of road discipline or patience. Everybody wants to overtake from right, left, centre, and if possible, even over us! Two wheelers are the worst in this aspect.
How do you control these? You cannot even stop to book them, since the traffic will get held up and stranded and the people will start shouting and abusing the cop. Best way, is to let the flow go on without any hindrance, and at this point, you cannot really look for violations or book violators, since the manpower available is hardly enough to manage the traffic.
Of course, quite a few guys are having a cushy life and all the best in the world. But the traffic cop standing there is really slogging it out, as we can see.
Maybe the best we can do is to at least smileat him, when we pass by, so as to make his miserable life a little better!
