This is my first experience at the passport seva kendra. I got my passport from Kolkata, and needed to renew it here since I am based out of Bangalore now. I was initially very agitated thinking about the terrible process we have all come to know.
However, I was pleasantly surprised as to how much better the process has become. The first counter was run by TCS and they are doing a great job. The entire process took me 4 hours.( I went to renew my existing passport). I received the new copy of my passport to my address within 3 working days! Thanks.
