Hospital looks shabby. But we did not mind unless it is neat and clean. We decided to choose this hospital though it is 11 kms away from our home for delivery. Consultation part was good. But the time they were not able to maintain the appointment timings. The consultations were over in few minutes. We never knew that stretch marks will start appearing and doctor never suggested anything. By the time we could realize, it was too late. We only asked for it, then only doctor suggested a cream to apply.
Delivery was pretty ok. By the time baby was delivered, none of the doctors were prepared and only after the delivery they wore the gloves and rest other things. This could cause infection.
Post delivery, the baby appeared slight yellowish and had fever. They prescribed a medicine which is not available in the market. Few of the nurses scared us. Baby's creatinine level was high and nurses interpreted saying baby is having some problem with kidney. We know why the test was conducted, but imagine a common man hearing this! Few of the Nurses were too rude.
Post discharge, doctor did not prescribed antibiotics neither any cream to apply. In such cases antibiotics are must which we were not aware at that time. Even during the follow-up check up, they said everything is fine. But the pain continued and we are forced to consult one more doctor. We are shocked to know that pus was oozing and again we have to undergo a minor surgery. The other doctor clearly said, this could have been avoided with proper medications.
We went to this hospital with a lot of hope and all of them were shattered. Only advantage was normal delivery and less cost compared to corporate hospitals.
