This is really a adventurous journey one cant forget I have been to Ooty via Bangalore and Mysore. I really enjoyed the trip but one of the forgettable stay on my whole visit was my stay at Bandipur Sanctuary. This is not the only sanctuary one can find on the way to Ooty there is one more Sanctuary which has its own different beauty that is Madhumalai Sanctuary but I planned a stay at Bandipur Sanctuary only as it is know as Tiger Reserve and I love to see the big animals like Tiger, Elephants, Deer etc.
There are various options available for accommodation like V.I.P Accommodation House, Cottages and even Dormitories for huge gatherings at economic budget plan. I opted for Cottage not VIP House as I wanted to enjoy the Forest beauty at its full not again the luxurious VIP Option available and to be Honest that was the best decision I made by going for cottage because I was able to enjoy the Sounds of various animals very clearly throughout the night which was extra ordinary pleasing for me.
And my luck rally favored me I got to see the rare thing happen two Tigers moving together in the Night they were so nicely walking on the Road like we humans usually go on a casual walk, and also I found n number of Deer's so close that I have never imagined earlier. Only thing I missed was Elephant but no worry I got to see the Elephants not one or two but a big group of elephants in Madhumalai Sanctuary guys and I really thanked god for making my Trip such a successful one as I got to see all the animal I wished to.
The timings of the Safari are:
6:30am to 9:30am and again in the Evening 3:30pm to 6:30pm but I prfer the morning timings only to make the full of enjoyment and adventure.
Charges:
For entry its just 200 INR and for Safari its just 100 INR which is really worth and very least or say negligible when you see and enjoy for hat you have paid.
The Cottage which I booked was Gajendra II and I was charged around 1600 approx. for that.
