This website claims to have been started by 4 passionate riders to offer riding gear & motorcycling accessories to riders.
I recently purchased a small item to test the waters. This is a simple auxiliary light mount. This mounts on the same 2 screws that mount the holder for the front license plate.
The product took some time to arrive, meaning their dekiveries are not as snappy as amazon has spoilt us to. It took a good 10 days for me.
Exited as I was at the prospect of the nice look it''''ll impart to my machine I waited but got it installed the same day it arrived. Git mysefl small aux lights for the mount as well. They were 1/4 the max recommended weight for the mounts.
On my return journey I discovered that the lights vibrate so much that they hurt the eye. I couldn''''t endure them for more than 2 days, so I had to change them to mount on my engine guards.
Then I informed the customer service of this website about the quality of their product, not really expecting a replacement. Surprisingly they did, even though it took weeks of following up.
But the caviet was that I have to ship my product first, they''''ll receive it & then they''''ll send me a ''''better'''' quality replacement which is sturdier & does not vibrate.
I tried explaining ro them that if I do so, I''''ll spend twice on installation charges + courier whereas if they send me the replacement I can do the replacement & send the original one back with only one installation charge + courier, but they won''''t listen to it.
My takeaway is that they themselves do not understand how this installation happens. The aux light mount itself becomes the license plate holder so without it you can''''t mount the license plate. Secondly the license plate needs rivets to be mounted, which we don''''t have only the showroom has them. Thirdly, they have only one product on their website, so there''''s no second ''''sturdier'''' product. They are just going to send me a replacement of the same product if they at all.
In these days of internet/ecommerce site frauds I couldn''''t take that chance too.
So the ineffective mount remains & I''''m none the wiser.
