Today our family decided to visit PVR Cinema, Chandigarh for watching the movie Band baaja Baaraat(BBB).
The show started at 0415PM. The scene started with a normal collage scene(Kirorimal collage, oops I had mentally noted, Thanks Jams for oops!!) The story is simple.The actor and actress are collage students. The situation demands that Bittu and Shruti became business partner for a wedding planner job.
But, they needed to have some exposer about the job. Hence they visit the most famous and well reputed wedding planner of the city. They get chance, but come to know soon about some unethical buisiness practices being followed by Chanda.
They quit the job and decide to open their own with the brand name `Shaadi Mubarak` They catch hold of a relative who had budget of just Rs 2.5 lakhs in Delhi. They , together accomplished it so nicely that it was a grand success. They even saved money by dancing marvellously together.
I liked a scene in between when Shruti said, ``jiske saath byapaar karo uske saath kabhi naa pyaar karo``. I even liked the green suit of Shruti..lolz.
Now the buisiness card gets printed with the name and contact numbers. I liked one more coment by Bittu when one marriage party was little apprehensive of their capabilities. He said(Bittu)...``Saadi aap karein aur uski sardardi hamein dein.``
In the second wedding of budget of 25 lakhs , they again danced so well, I loved it, I liked the blue suit of Bittu. Now they had a Dell laptop also in their office ( My husband noticed it!!) The Baarat was coming to Chandigarh. I felt great because I too now reside in Chandigarh.
Now, they start dreaming big and start `poaching` the client of the most famous wedding planner, Chanda. They catch hold of the same person which had made up their mind for Chanda. They asked the `Shaadi Mubaarak` team,``You are a novice, why we should give you this 5 crore deal? Bittu said, ``Sir for others it may be a `deal` , but for us it`s not. Hum poora jaan laga detein hain, and we handle just one saadi in a moment.`` They get that contract.
I liked the whole team of `Saadi Mubaarak` which consisted a caterer who is a `sardar` a tent maker who is a muslim and a DJ band, the head of which is from Bittu`s collage. After a big success they celebrate. My husband noticed the I-Pod and Boss speaker cum amplifier in the background!!
After the celebration there is an `intimate` scene in which there was a lot of whistling in the hall.
But, the story changes after this scene as Shruti falls in love herself, but Bittu keeps it just as buisiness rule book and avoids such feeling. It hurts Shruti and they decide to separate.
But they become utter failures to the extent of getting bankrupted. On the advice of the caterer and other `former` team members they decide to unite for three months for the biggest contract of their career. But, Shruti, in a bid to give `jhatka` to Bittu decides to a Dubai based man Chintu.
In between my husband, who is such an avid observer for commodity brands noticed the Apple brand touchscreen phone with Bittu and Nokia E 63 Businness phone with Shruti. My husband has recently taken E 63.
The last scene is too good. Bittu says,``Tere saath kaam mein bhi mauj hai`` he says many more good dialogues which are too impressive. Main bhee paat jaati... Lolz.
The story ends with a happy note.
