FTV should be banned???.... Well I havnt come across one soul who thinks so (well our friend Pooja thinks india is still not ready for it...is a completely diff matter). I mean we have entered the 21st century- the age of INTERNET when even a 10 year old kid can get all the porn in the world for free right at his fingertips what use will a ban do if at all someone can justify such a thing?
Besides do u think we indians have nothing better to do then drool at those ''skinny, totally drugged out 14 year old europeans with spots on all her skin''??? No Thank YOu. But that doesnt mean it should not be there. It was the best ''default channel''. whats DEFAULT CHANNEL??? well its the channel u turn to when theres nothing good coming on any other channel. I remember in all the flats where my college mates lived lots of time FTV will be on at full volume & guess what no ones watching? WHy? 'coz the MUSIC IDIOT!!!!!. With MTV becoming the ''randi'' among the channels & Channel V showing good stuff only after 10 in the night(i still havnt figured out why? ) where does the urban educated dude turn to? FTV ofcourse. Watching FTV even for more than 5 minutes becomes very boring unless ofcourse the LINGERIE section is on(Boy this is one amazing section) but still atleast they dont play govinda's & salman's songs all day. Get my drift? I've heard so many cool songs on FTV.
Now the point of the culture police will be tackled. What point? They have no fu'kin point. They r just hypocrite politicians out there exploiting the psyche of the generationof 40plus who still think they r in 80's. Yeah there must be lotsa 40 plus ''Uncles'' & ''AUNTIES'' who think that FTV should be banned & its a bad influence on our kids. HAHAH!!!
I mean that generation of 40+ telling me whats wrong & whats right? HUH!!! As they say JINKE GHAR SHISHE KE HOTE HAIN UNHE DUSRO KE GHAR PE PATHAR NAHI PHEKNA CHAHIYE!!!
I mean these r the last bunch of people I want to be lectured by . Just look at urself. The whole mess india is in right now is thanks to ur generation uncle. BEAURACRACY the sole reason for the state of india along with politicians...both belong to ur generation..... Besides the recent revelations on tehelka.com tapes have shown how perverted u guys r.
Now the next point is about choice. This is 21st century. A age when man must have choices. Forget FTV if u ask me I want a porn channel showing porn all night long after 10 in the night. Iam an adult & I think I should have the choice. I mean the last resort these 40+ uncles will ge to is that FTV shows sleaze & sex & stuff. SO WHAT? I WANT SEX!!!!!.... so do so many other adults. Even couples below 35 years of age will get a new lease of life in their marital &sexual lives....SAY WHAT?
Then theres the Indian FAshion Industry is being promoted by FTV too. That itself should make these banners ashamed & should be jailed for being ''traitors''. I mean they r banning something which promotes a industry of ours which was almost nonexistent outside India till yesterday. Rohit Bal clothes r adorned by ANNA nowadays, & even Pamela Anderson too.
FTV SHOULD NOT BE BANNED ....atleast its the only good music channel :)
LEmme tell u theres exception to every rule. I donot intend to hurt the feelings of any particular age group . But these r my views for the majority of the people.
To think of it its being banned in the land of KAMASUTRA!!!! what double standards ....disgusting.
