Opp Kalyan Jewelers is this Great Cake Shop Baker's Lounge, at entrance we found it to be a really pleasing proprietor and also the staff of the Baker's Lounge, Ludhiana. Comfortable sitting for small family, like mine, with one kid and spouse. We saw mouthwatering texture and names of pastries. Ordered two or three of them, also confirmed whether it will have real fruits like their name indicates or not, and the answer was a smiling yes.
But to our surprise all we found the cake was cream flavored with synthetic syrups or essences or fruitless than 4%. Adults were dis-hearten, but our Kid was happy, so we paid and left happily. We Again planned a visit on the demand of our kid, tried normal snacks and took some to home also, it was all average like any other local bakery, but we never found any fine reason of why we were paying such high cost for normal products other than our kids happiness which he finds at every new place.
On our seventh or eighth visit, we ordered Veg Cal-slow Sandwich and other snacks and it was a disaster, I ate half of it, and to convince my child there was no chilly in Sandwich I opened apart sandwich and to my surprise there were live bugs in the rotten tomatoes. We Informed the staff, they courteously took it back, and removed all from the storage.
As a Good Citizen I had to pay so I asked and one more surprise I was billed for that rotten food. I paid the whole thing to take it as a lesson of life, we avoided the place for around 6 months, but one sudden day we passed by there and kid again forced us to go there, we stepped in with all caution.
We found London dairy Ice-cream on display, we selected two packs, one strawberry yogurt and other other strawberry candy but again to our surprise, the candy was of chocolate. I showed him and said we wanted strawberry, but said its branded and it is like that. I was again speechless, felt too betrayed, and angry too, but again kept calm, made payment and decided never to visit the place again and write this review to let other people know the truth of this Fox-minded restaurant.
