As usual, as its the trend that sanjay lila bhansali's movies are always great and hit, this was the case with bajirao mastani also.
it was a great movie and retreat to eyes. starting from the sets of the movie, the make up to match the marathi dynasty, the sound tracks which has marathi accent in it and which matches marathi lavani styles, also all the actor's marathi accents, this all makes it a great movie.
thought there is some exaggeration in the real bajirao peshwa's story and some degradation shown in the movie, but still we it was a nice try to represent Indian history.
also they have shown the exact architectural details of the Shaniwar wad, the great house of the Bajirao Peshwa, as described it in history. though there are now no remnants of shaniwar wada as it caught fire and was in fire for 7 days during nanasaheb peshwa's time.
priyanka chopra was dicto looking like a marathi woman in the movie, but it did not suit to deepika.
overall it was a great movie. this is the first movie of non-Khans to gain more than 100 crore abroad.
so, if you have not watched it, plz watch it.
