In India, the mom always wins, so yes we were there in the line to buy tickets for Bajirao Mastani. My mom super excited to watch Deepika, while I was there to watch Ranveer. And brother, well he was there for the popcorn.Enough of the personal talks, let’s begin with the review of the movie. When you have greater than greater sets and everything astonishingly artistic it has to be a SLB Movie. Now I won’t be disclosing the movie script here as I don’t want to be a Spoiler, but guys, you’ve got to watch this movie.From Deepika’s dance to Ranveer’s Marathi Accent, to the mature acting of Priyanka, everything needs a super loud clap. The entire team did a marvelous job. So yes, as per the rumors the history was fictionalized in the movie, but come on guys, let’s look at it from the entertainment point of view. None of us are in the history lecture at the moment while munching on the Caramel Popcorn, right? The music of this movie is astounding. My favorites are two songs – Pinga and Deewani Mastani. And yes, I loved Pc more in Pinga than Deepika. The film has this historian look. SLB and his eye for perfection is too good. He has made his actors work too hard. The dialogues in the movies are worth whistles, especially Bajirao’s dialogues.Another amazing thing about the movie is the accent by Priyanka and Ranveer. They have this nice Maratha touch in their tone. Deepika was the perfect choice for a warrior princess after Aishwarya Rai. I really am amazed to know that Salman Khan was the first choice for Bajirao. Personally, I feel Ranveer has done super justice to the character.However, there is something that really caught my eyes – The movie is named Bajirao Mastani, but if you watch it you will notice that it shows more of the Kashibai’s(Priyanka Chopra) pain rather than Bajirao’s and Mastani’s. All in all, I loved the movie and yes it is a onetime see in theatres.
