Most of the perfect bikes from Hero Honda are in the premium segment, like Karizma, Xtreme and Hunk.Bajaj pulsar 150, 180, 200, 220 are all competing strongly against HH in this segment.
TVS has only got its Apache but even it has been a good bike.But the recent entries from Yamaha - FZS and Fazer are much better and have the potential to take over the market easily.
The bikes in the economy range are technically fit and perform good, but are either too flashy and costly (glamour) or too funny or simple (passion and splendor)
In the economy segement Bajaj Discover has been a hit
Even Honda Stunner is a good competing bike in this segment.
