If u want 2 purchase this bike, may this review help a bit. bajaj xcd 125 dts-si is a great bike...i m saying this because I am an owner of it since 9000kms (march 2008).
I decided to write a review after a long time, because I want to be sure about the performance of the bike, but now the wait is over. it gives me average around 75km/L in city conditions. I just drive it on an average speed of 40-50 km/h. but handling & braking are few area which makes this bike noncompetitive in the market. looks depends on ur perception towards this bike.
If u r looking fr a bike which give u above ur expectation fuel efficency results, this one is fr u, just make sure about the accelaration upto 3rd service & of regular service.other bikes may commet u the same but cant perform before purchasing my xcd125 I was also not very sure about the fuel economy & all.
I thought that it may give me an average around 60kmpl...... but I was ammased by the performance when after 2nd service it touched around 80kmpl. I drive this bike atleast 25-50 km daily but no complains yet. I m setisfied with the performance & looking forward to buy a bajaj xcd-135 dtssi soon.
Updates 20/05/09complete disappointment average has now declined to 50 kmpl and control is still a problem .
