I was tracking this bike ever since its news of launch.

A excellent commuter bike with a 125 cc engine ( Just we all executive segment riders want) and with 5 gears.

I liked the 5-speed gear box with its 1 down 4 up pattern. It proves good during panick condition when u are constantly Moving down the gears in the event of emergency and will always be left with a gear to pull on.

Compare it with the Pulsar 150 all down shift patten, what will happen if u are constantly going up the higher in ghats in emergency & u reach neutral..my god u are moving down..and u try to shift gears..u press the clutch.still u are moving down... this will cause a small or big accident.

Ok lets talk about the Bike:

1.The bike gives 50 to 60 kpl mileage in city riding which is less than claimed.the culprit here is the gear box with Close ratios.Due to this the bike feels breathless on highways as compared to pulsar 150.

2.The instrument cluster does not look good & plastic used looks cheap.Instrument cluster from pulsar is good enough will look good.

I think Bajaj would have saved the money of development of this cluster by using the same cluster & fork assembly from Pulsar.

3.The handle bar should have been equipped with bar end weights as in pulsar..it saves ur hand in the event u skid and fall down.

I would buy this bike If bajaj people change the fifth spped ratio to a taller one..so that it cruises effortlessly at low rpm in fifth gear & also improve mileage.

Once I buy the bike I would do following modifications to it:

1.I will change the Instrument cluster with the pulsar.

2.Fit the twist grip & bar end weight from pulsar.

the rest is OK for me
