The Bajaj V15 has been launched in the Indian market at Rs. 62, 000( ex-showroom, Delhi) . While, the deliveries will be commenced from 23rd March 2016 – the day that is celebrated as ‘Shaheed Diwas’ in India. The company is offering a compulsory accessory package costs an additional Rs. 1, 000, while the stock Bajaj V bike is priced at Rs. 61, 000. For people not in the know, the Bajaj V bike was revealed just prior to the 2016 Delhi Auto Expo at an event in Delhi. The new Bajaj V bike is positioned above the Discover 150, and caters a niche segment. Though, it might also affect the sales of Suzuki Gixxer, Yamaha R15 and other premium 150cc bikes in India.

What makes the Bajaj V 15 a special bike is the fact that it is made using the Indian Navy’s first aircraft carrier – INS Vikrant. With scrambler+ cafe racer like design elements, the Bajaj V15 will attract the executive segment buyers. This will help the company grow its volumes in the fast-growing premium commuter category. In terms of design and styling, the Bajaj V looks a lot better than the Discover 150 and the  Pulsar AS150. The home-grown two-wheeler maker might introduce more products under Bajaj V range across different segments.
