If you are looking for a light and easy runabout, please make sure you stay away from the sick vehicle bajaj spirit.
you may be tempted because of its low price tag. but when you own it you will spend so much on maintenance of it that that low price benefit entirely disappears.
Bajaj Spirit, like many other Bajaj vehicles (sunny, saffire to name a few) is very unreliable and full of problems. Some problems are low pickup which makes climbing on inclines very difficult, starting problem which is truly a pain, inadequate seating space so if you have a pillion rider it is very annoying and generally too many things keep going wrong with this vehicle.
Bajaj has a reputation for highly inconsistent quality of manufacturing, and very poor service at its dealerships.
I have sold my spirit and hence bought a Kinetic Zing and believe me it is much better in EVERY aspect.
