Expected a better product from Bajaj.
Pros
Beautiful and sleek design
The lid and gasket design is quite good, fully sealed and avoids spillage.
Cons
- Lot of noise of different kinds - squealing, cracking, whistling etc
from different parts of the mixie while it is running
Noise also means vibration causing doubts on long term usage of the product
- The blades are bolted from bottom, which means in order to clean thoroughly,
you need to open both sides(the blade on one side and the gear wheel on the other).
There is danger of loosing(many) washers while doing so. This is more a design
issue.
- The plastic mixing handle with wrench can only be used for the first two
jars. The small jar blade nut size is different.
- The big jar blade is very small compared to the jar and so you need to spend more
time and effort to grind. Even then it does not grind completely. Other jars are okay from
this point of view.
- In the big jar, the nylon washer at the inside bottom started peeling off after 3-4 uses.
With the fear of plastic getting into food, we stopped using the big jar.
