My initial choice was hero honda karizma. But I opted for the pulsar 150 dtsi. This was due to my long experience with different bikes. I decided for this bike as I was looking for something powerful and yet fuel efficient for student like me.

I bought the new pulsar dtsi 150, last december 2003. since then, I haven't had much problem with the bike. It has great pickup compared to other same catagory bikes and dominates the road in every way. With its good pick up, it gives a very good mileage. It depends on the rider too, how he handles the bike. For me, it has been giving 45 to 55 km/l. In a high speed also, it doesnt vibrate. It goes on smoothly. as for the looks, the look is okay. The look didn't impress me much. But its other qualities attracted me.

For the disadvantages, I always have to adjust the chain. Atleast once a month. It gets loose frequently. And the rare tyre is too thin compared to the bike. That's all. At last, I prefer to go for the bike, for people looking for power comfort and mileage.

Driving around with this bike is a good experience. It gives the bossy feeling when you experience the power and hugeness of the bike. Its quiet a heavy and heighty bike.
