HI guys,

This is my first review on Mouthshut. So please bear with me on it.

I have recently bought a Pulsar 150 DTSI, about a week back and would like to put up a few thoughts on it. Will update my review in future when I have a more timed experience on this bike. I selected a PUlsar because of its technical supremecy over others and great looks.

Highlights of this bike

  1. Good pickup, - it just vrooms

  2. Great looks, - Definitely turns heads

  3. Good fittings - international feel

  4. Nice sound - murmur of a tiger on the prowl

  5. No problem in driving at high gears at low speeds

  6. Nice breaks

  7. Good grip on the road

  8. Excellent balance even when being a little heavier - a person like me with 5'7'' height can also drive it with ease (was having some apprehensions earlier)

Lowlights of the bike

  1. Many false neutrals - problem faced at high speeds, as well as city driving

  2. THe idling engine speed is high, asper the dealer it is normal and will be rectified during first visit. but dont know exactly about it.

  3. Engine gets heated soon.- mightbe a temporary problem because of high revs and new bike.

I think any person with a city driving routine can go for this bike which will be an excellent commuter. I know it is a bit costly that its companions in the 150cc club but the snob value and the rave looks it gets from roadside persons is worth the extra grands put in.

So besides the excellent technology of DTSI and others, I think it makes a solid proposition to go for this bike
