How can I describe my Pulsar.

Like all things, it comes with good as well as bad things.

Many people wrote about how good the Pulsar is.

Lemme tell you the bad things about a Pulsar and the excellent service of Hamara Bajaj.

Not to mention I have met quite a number of disheartened owners .

To start with, I have met at least one person who have threatened the company that he will burn( can I say immolate) his pulsar at a public, if the company doesn't change a very critical part which was found faulty. Apparently, the bajaj guys have not been responsive to his numerous pleas.

Let me say about my experiences since I bought my Pulsar 150.

I bought it in june 2002.

It was a good bike.

I liked the mileage, and the power. Never experienced power combined with mileage and Pulsar scores in that and everbody only sees that.

First Cons of the Pulsar is that it crushes the rider's testicles. Believe me when you are riding long distances you get this this pressure as if some have just kicked you hard at the crotch. Imagine the pain. I believe, it could even lead to impotency or or other testicular abnormalities. Just like what happens to tri-cycle Rickshaw drivers.

The service is awful. I had a problem in my gear box. Technical, but a problem nonethe less. I could feel it. There was this sound coming from the engine all the time. I went and complained about the same to the company showroom but the compnay engineer say it is normal. I still have the sound. No other pulsar has. All my friends feel it except the Bajaj engineer.

Suddenly, it was found that my clutch plates have burned, one the gear is faulty, and timing chain slack. Changed them. Of course I had to pay for the replacements as they didn't come under warrantee. Very few parts come under the warrantee it seems.

I still have the noise, and have learnt to live with it. Well I plan to sell it anyway so What the heck. Quality control is what they lack it seems, but whom do I complain.
