My name is Badari. I am from Bangalore. I purchased Pulsar DTSI 150 CC in the year 2003. My bike has run around 30K+ kms.My bike was the first series of DTSI that was released in November 2003. I am not an expert but based on my experience I am listing down the pro's and con's of this bike. I hope this will be user ful for feature buyers

Pro's

  1. Good pick up.

  2. Good millage ->i get around 52 - 55 kmpl in Bangalore traffic. Every one knows how bad is Bangalore traffic.

  3. Low maintenance cost -> I do my servicing every 2000 kms. My servicing cost comes around 400 - 500 rupees which includes Engine oil and servicing cost.

  4. Good suspension I can it is better than Honda unicorn

  5. Stable at high speeds. I have hit speed of 120 kms. I fealt at 110 kmph the vibration creeps in

Con's

1.I would say its the gear box. It's very hard. If I compare with Honda Unicorn.

2.I fealt steering is little heavy and u cannot zip zap in the Bangalore traffic.

3.Engine gets hot easily

Regards,

Badari.
